Business Admissions Consulting Success Stories

Thanks for getting this jarhead into Harvard! I can not begin to tell you how thankful I am that you are my admissions consultant. You took a very complicated process and broke it down for me piece by piece, pushing me to analyze my career thus far and demonstrate why I wanted an MBA from Harvard.

I just sent in my "accept" notification and will mail my deposit in this week. I am so thankful this process is over, but I would do it again in a heartbeat if you were the one giving the advice.

Thanks again Larry. From the dusty firm base outside of Fallujah to my humble home by Camp Lejeune, it has been a long journey. I simply could not have done it without you.

I was just notified by U of Chicago that I was accepted to their part time program. I'm still in a state of disbelief and I keep rereading their email. But I wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for your advice and tough-love guidance. I couldn't have done it without you!

Just got the news...I got into HARVARD!!!!!! Honestly, I could not be happier than I am right now. Thank you so much for all of your help. You have made this process so much smoother for me and I can't thank you enough.

You are a miracle worker! I found out this evening that I was admitted to Chicago GSB. I cannot explain my elation or begin to thank you enough for all your help.

Even though words cannot fully express how thankful I am for all that you have done—thank you. You not only helped me put together a stellar application but forced me to focus on my career goals. The realizations I came to will endure long after I complete my MBA. Throughout the application process you have been an invaluable consultant with sage advice and a tireless cheerleader with endless encouragement. I'm glad that the application process is over and I can’t wait to start at Columbia next fall.

Just wanted to let you know that I heard from the Duke admissions director, and I GOT INTO DUKE'S EXECUTIVE MBA PROGRAM, Class of 2009! I am ecstatic, and I can't thank you enough for all of your help and guidance that you provided. Thank you so much!

You have been a great help in this whole process. I will be turning in all the applications today and won't have to think about these for a while. By the way, I will definitely be referring people to Kaplan. I owe a lot to you guys for helping make me a much stronger candidate through my GMAT and essays.

I wanted to share with you the wonderful news that I have been accepted to Kellogg School of Management! I am extremely excited as Kellogg was one of my top choices for business school. I really appreciate all of your help with my essays. I know that your advice was a big part of making my essays stand out against other applicants.

It turns out that I got into Chicago GSB and Texas, which offered me full scholarship!

I learned a couple of hours ago that I have been admitted to the Darden School of Business. Also, I have been asked by NYU to fly to New York City next month for an interview!

Good news! I was accepted into BC, and they offered me a $10,000 scholarship!

I have been celebrating the wonderful news from my b-school applications! I have been accepted at Wharton and Kellogg. Again, thank you for your enormous assistance in this matter. It is difficult to make up my mind yet as they're both among my top choices but I have some time to think about it!

I already got my acceptance letter from Georgetown. I really like their international program, and they offered me a $30k merit-based scholarship ($15k each year)!

I just got a call on Friday from an assistant dean at University of Chicago to let me know that I have been accepted!

Larry, I wanted to let you know that I have been admitted to Carnegie Mellon's MBA program!!! Thank you again for the assistance in preparing my application!

I got into Kellogg off the waitlist!!! I ended up getting into Chicago, Kellogg, and waitlisted at UCLA despite a 2.9 GPA. I'm pretty sure it was because of my essays, so I want to thank you for all your help.

Great news. I was accepted to Babson, and I was awarded a $30k scholarship! That makes 3 for 3, with scholarships to all. Thank you so much for all your help. My essays were really the one part of my application package that I was worried about, and you helped me with that tremendously. My resume is 10 times better as well. Can't tell you how much I appreciate your work. It's been a pleasure.

You were right, I actually got into USC. Unbelievable.

I was accepted to Harvard this week – I am 2 for 2!! I'm very, very excited and wanted to say thank you again for all of your help - from telling me I had a good chance, to the final editing.

Thank you so much for your help. Between Wharton and Berkeley, I don't know where I'll go!

I just wanted to let you know that my consultant did an outstanding job in helping me with the application process, especially with the essays. As a result, I got admitted to all the schools I applied to including HBS, Wharton, Kellogg, and Chicago.

I wanted to let you know that I got my admit from HBS today. Thanks a lot for all the help and support you've given me along the way. Now I'll have to do some serious thinking between Wharton/Lauder and HBS. It's going to be a very tough decision because I'm equally drawn to both schools.

I just wanted to let you know that I received an acceptance to Kellogg today. I want to thank you for all your help throughout this process. Your reassuring words and confidence in me were key in my ability to maintain some degree of sanity.

I can't thank you enough for all your help and support during my application process to Columbia's MBA program. Despite the condensed timeframe, you always pulled through for me with invaluable suggestions, and quick turnaround of the essay drafts. More importantly, you were the one who calmed me down, and gave me confidence/reassurance when I felt overwhelmed by the amount of required work before the October 12th deadline. Well, the insanity paid off - I received my acceptance letter to Columbia last week!

I am writing to you to let you know my Round 2 results. Harvard: ACCEPTED! Again, thank you for all your help and advice, which directly contributed to this success!

I just wanted to thank you for all the guidance you gave me on my essays and the business school apps in general. There was a real difference between my first drafts and the final product and I have you to thank for that.

I just wanted you to be one of the first to know that I was accepted off the wait-list at Kellogg yesterday. Thanks for all your help throughout the process. And for all those who don't make the 700 club: I am proud to say that I got into a top 5 school with a 650 GMAT!

Got word today from Yale...2 for 2! I asked her what the determining factors were. She said that among them were my essays. She found both interesting and unique.

THE KAPLAN DIFFERENCE
It is one thing to have an MBA and quite another to have read thousands and thousands of applications. My consultant's experience has provided her a comprehensive understanding of what each and every school is looking for and what drives their interest in those characteristics.
