Kaplan continuously hosts free GMAT and Business School events throughout the year. Use the 'Find a Free Event' link on the left to find specific events in your area. All you need to do is register. You will not be asked for any credit card information, nor will you be charged. Some of our major b-school school events include:

Try Kaplan's GMAT Class for free. Attend this free class and learn valuable strategies and methods to raise your GMAT score. An expert GMAT teacher will provide information on the structure and scoring of the GMAT exam, strategies you can use on tough quantitative questions types, and an overview of Kaplan's GMAT course and materials.

Get a jump-start on the admissions process by attending a free Business School Insider Event, where a panel of experts will give you insider tips on the application process and discuss business career opportunities. Learn how to write outstanding application essays, solicit effective letters of recommendation, craft a stellar application and also get strategies crucial for Test Day Success. Some events include a business school fair with representation from area and national business schools.

Occurring in many major cities nationwide in the fall, Kaplan Business School Forums include a panel discussion typically made up of admissions officers, b-school students and/or MBA graduates. Panelists address everything from getting in and succeeding in b-school to career options available to MBA grads. This event runs approximately 3 hours.

Kaplan GMAT experts address how b-schools evaluate applicants, how to create a winning application (including tips on essays, letters of recommendation, interviews), and the structure and scoring of the GMAT. This event runs approximately 60-90 minutes.

Test your skills with this free practice GMAT and get a detailed analysis of your performance. In addition, Kaplan experts will provide you with an overview of the GMAT and its role in the admissions process. This event typically runs 3-4 hours.

Get your b-school application essay noticed! Learn what admissions officers are looking for and the important role your application essays play in your b-school admissions package. Develop essay topics based on your vision, goals and accomplishments; focus your theme and get expert tips on writing and editing to create an outstanding essay! Workshop is 1 hour to 1 hour and 15 minutes in length.

Organized by QS TopMBA in association with Kaplan Test Prep and Admissions, the February 2008 QS World MBA Tour features hundreds of top business schools from around the world.
