ACT Test Dates and Registration
The ACT is administered six times a year.

Registering for the ACT
You can easily register for the ACT online. The registration fee is $29, which includes having your score sent to 4 colleges. If you decide to take the optional Writing Test, the fee is $43. If you decide to send your scores to additional schools after test day, the fee is $9 per test.*
