Strategy Used: Guess on questions you can't answer.
The Grid-In questions are the only ones on the SAT that don't
have a wrong answer penalty. On multiple-choice math questions,
you lose 1/4 of a point for every wrong answer, on Grid-Ins not
answering a question has the same impact on your score as a wrong
answer. The moral? Always guess. If you have no idea what the
answer might be, just guess "1"—the most common correct Grid-In
answer in the last 20 administrations of the SAT.
