Deluxe Integrated Testing program are high-quality evaluation
tools that are reviewed and revised every 12 to 18 months. The tests are nationally normed and the questions are
carefully researched to evaluate relevant content areas.
You may select from our end-of-course specialty tests or have one of these tests customized to map to your curriculum.
Admission: a 91-question multiple-choice test evaluates the basic reading, math, writing, and science skills of high school graduates. The Reading section
tests the students' ability to identify the idea and/or purpose
of the passage, identify details, and to use inference and logic.
The Math section tests fundamental math, algebra, geometry, and
problem solving. The Writing section asks students to identify correct and incorrect sentence mechanics,
paragraph logic, and passage development. The Science section tests students' knowledge of Anatomy and Physiology concepts.
Fundamentals of Nursing: A
75-question test that evaluates the understanding of nursing
procedures and the basic skills needed to care for clients in a
variety of situations.
Critical Thinking: A 75-question
test that measures critical thinking at the conclusion of a
Fundamentals of Nursing course. The test measures the steps of
critical thinking vital to the successful practice of
nursing.
Wellness/Physical Assessment: A
75-question test that evaluates the understanding of techniques
of physical assessment and the behaviors required to prevent
illness and maintain health throughout the life span.
Pharmacology/Parenteral Therapy:
A 75-question test that evaluates the understanding of the
administration of medication as well as the nursing implications.
Questions about parenteral therapies are also included.
OB/GYN and Growth and Development: A 75-question test
that evaluates the understanding of obstetrical nursing,
gynecological nursing, and issues related to growth and
development throughout the life span.
Medical/Surgical Part I: A
75-question test that evaluates the understanding of the
musculoskeletal, endocrine, immune, integumentary, GI, and GU
systems.
Medical-Surgical Part II: A
75-question test that evaluates the understanding of the
neurological, cardiovascular, and respiratory systems and
cancer.
Medical-Surgical Comprehensive:
A 75-question test that evaluates the understanding of the
concepts of medical/surgical nursing throughout the life
span.
Psychosocial: A 75-question test
that evaluates the understanding of psychiatric nursing and the
psychosocial issues involved in caring for clients in the world
today.
Management/Professional Issues:
A 75-question test that evaluates the understanding of the scope
and role of the registered professional nurse in today's
healthcare environment.
Nursing Assessment Test: An
180-question end-of-program test that evaluates the students'
mastery of the content areas taught in a basic nursing
curriculum.
Community Health: A 90-question subject test that evaluates students' understanding of the processes of population-based nursing and caring for the aggregate community as the principal client.
Pediatric Nursing: A 75-question subject test that evaluates the students' understanding of pediatric nursing and issues related to caring for families with children.
Pathophysiology: A 75-question subject test that evaluates the students' understanding of disease processes and altered health states integrating concepts of inflammation, cellular injury and death, aging, and cellular proliferation.
Transitions: A 75-question test designed for the practical nurse transitioning from the role of the LPN/LVN to the role of an RN.
NCLEX-RN Diagnostic Test: An
180-question end-of-program test that predicts student success on
the NCLEX-RN exam. You can administer the diagnostic as an
end-of-program test or at the beginning of the NCLEX-RN® review
course.
