Graduate Admissions Consulting Success Stories

Barbara was knowledgeable and insightful throughout the whole process. I feel like she helped bring out my own personal story in a way that would impress the admissions committee. She provided thoughtful feedback throughout the whole process and helped bring out my best qualities and accomplishments in my essays. Ultimately, I got into my target school, American University—an achievement I don't think I would have earned without Barbara's expert guidance.

Jesse understood my perspective and goals completely and framed my written pieces accordingly. He ensured my strengths were highlighted and shortcomings effectively explained. I was impressed with his experience in dealing with issues like mine—he understood that I was deployed overseas and adjusted his counseling methods accordingly. He understands what the top-tier schools want, and he helped me deliver.

I received acceptances from: Arizona State, U of Arizona, Temple, Hastings, Santa Clara, AND my first choice CU Boulder! I just received the Boulder letter today and am flying out tomorrow to visit (previously planned trip, just perfect timing!) Thank you for all of your assistance! It would not have been possible without your help!

I wanted to pass on the good news...I was accepted to the Sociology doctorate program at ASU. Not only was I accepted but I was offered an assistantship, 100% tuition funding, and a stipend! Needless to say I am very excited. I wanted thank you for all your help and guidance. I wish you the best.

I received a letter from Cornell a few days ago and...I got in with a four year $7,500 scholarship! Thank you for all your help throughout this exciting process.

Not only did I get into my top choice school, I was also selected for the family and child advocacy fellowship. I was granted a $40,000 scholarship with this fellowship, which is more than I could ever imagine! Thank you so much for all your help!

Thank you, thank you, thank you for all your help last summer! My interviewers at K State loved my personal statement. And it was so great having someone so knowledgable and supportive to help during such a stessful process. I am eternally grateful!

I was accepted to UC Davis, UMass Amherst, and Indiana. Indiana gave me a full 7 year scholarship with a teaching position, stipend, health insurance and full tuition waiver. Thank you—you were a huge help!

The first school to notify me about its acceptance decision was actually my top choice , Yale. My tuition there is waived, and I will be getting a stipend. I am very excited and grateful to you for your invaluable contribution!

The Director of Graduate Studies called me to offer me a spot!!!!! The 5-year package includes tuition remission, healthcare, and $25,000/year, including summers. What's more, they're flying me out there next week for a 3-day visit!

Richard, remember me? The one who wanted to send in a 10-page personal statement until you came along? I wanted to let you know I got into my first choice—Stanford!

I got into USC, which was my first choice!!! I am really excited to be starting their Master's of Social Work program in the fall. I just wanted to say thank you so much for all your help and hard work.

Melissa helped me produce a much better essay than I would have on my own. While she challenged my writing and structure, she was also very supporting and encouraging.
