Going on a Tangent


Trigonometry brings geometry to a more dynamic level. For instance, instead of angles ending in at most 360°, in trigonometry, the amount of the angle's rotation is not restricted. So angles measuring 90°, 450°, or -630° will all end in the same spot.

Other basic trigonometric concepts and skills that you'll have to be familiar with include


Measuring angles in radians

Converting between degrees and radians.

The sine and cosine functions.

The tangent function.

The reciprocal trigonometric functions.
