December to January
  • Begin researching high schools your child may be interested in attending. Many schools have different requirements. For example, Specialized High Schools will require the SHSAT. For private schools, the SSAT or ISEE may be required. Catholic high schools may request students complete the TACHS. Understand which tests your child will need to take, and when the deadlines are to take them.
  • If your family plans to leave during the summer months, or if your child has multiple high school admissions tests to take, it is important he or she starts their prep early. Premier Tutoring allows for review of multiple tests around your child’s schedule.
