Experience event and participate in a mock 1L class. You'll learn
what to do—and what to avoid—as a law student, and get a feel for
what it will be like during the three years you will spend in
school. Your professor—a noted area attorney and
instructor—will:
- Work through a legal case that most students will review
their first year of law school, taught using the Socratic
Method
- Discuss what to expect in the first weeks and months of law
school, plus what the 2nd and 3rd years will involve

"Think About Law" Forums
Kaplan's "Think About Law" Forums take place in major cities
nationwide throughout the year. Events may include a panel
discussion featuring law school admissions officers, law students
and/or those practicing law. The panel will address everything
from admissions tips and succeeding in law school to career
options for those with a J.D. degree. The forum also includes a
law school fair with representation from local and sometimes
national law schools. If you're thinking about law school, you'll
want to attend this free event and take advantage of the inside
tips and expert advice you'll receive. Most of these events run
approximately 2-3 hours.

LSAT Strategy Seminar
Kaplan LSAT experts provide an in-depth overview of the LSAT,
including format, scoring, plus sample questions and strategies.
This event runs approximately 60 minutes.

LSAT Practice Test Event
This event enables prospective LSAT test-takers to gauge their
test-taking strengths and weaknesses by taking a free practice
LSAT test in a simulated testing environment. You will receive a
detailed analysis of your performance on the exam. In addition,
Kaplan experts will provide an overview of the exam and its role
in the admissions process. This event typically runs 4.5 hours.
Performance analysis is available 2-7 days after the practice
test.
