Judith A. Burckhardt, PhD, RN
Executive Director, Kaplan Nursing
Working with students and international nurses preparing
for the NCLEX-RN® allows you help them achieve their
career goals.
Tracey Carlson, MSN, RNC
Akron Kaplan Center
Tracey, being part of the faculty at Kent State
University College of Nursing, helps students on a daily
basis to understand the nursing content. With her being a
Kaplan instructor as well, it enables her to help
students achieve not only their educational goals, but
helps the students start their careers.
Janice Di Falco, RN, MSN, CNS, BC, FAACVPR
Houston Kaplan Center
Teaching for Kaplan has allowed me to be a part of
preparing graduate nurses from a variety of programs and
cultures to take their NCLEX® exam and be successful.
Becoming a Registered Nurse has been a dream for these
students and it is very rewarding to know that I had the
opportunity to help graduate nurses reach their goals and
dreams. The people that take their NCLEX® exam are the
nurses of the future. It is very rewarding to know that I
had the opportunity to impact their success.
Susan Gatto, RN, MSN
Little Rock Kaplan Center
I love teaching nursing and I love working with students
from across the state. I use a lot of humor in the
classroom. It's a great retention tool. Learning should
be fun. I get excited when the students e-mail me and
tell me they passed the NCLEX-RN®. Kaplan is a wonderful
program and gives students the edge they need to be
successful.
Kim Jackowski, RN, BSN
New Jersey Kaplan Medical/International
Center
Helping students apply their nursing knowledge utilizing
critical thinking strategies in order to successfully
pass the NCLEX® exam is a most rewarding challenge. The
many emails I get from successful students just make my
day. It pleases me to know not only that I have helped
someone achieve a career goal but that I am still
contributing to the wonderful profession of nursing.
Mark Livsey, APRN—BC, CNS, MSN
Austin Kaplan Center
Giving students the confidence required to earn the
rewards of their hard work [is what I enjoy about
teaching for Kaplan].
Kay Luft, PhD—Candidate, MN, RN
Kansas City Kaplan Center
As a nursing educator, I have a vested interest in
preparing students for the NCLEX-RN®. Working with
students allows me to help them achieve their
professional career goals. Nothing delights me more than
a student calling or stopping me to report, 'I passed!'
