Your first year of college. Perhaps you picture a world of constant parties, wild experiences, new friends, and maybe even a couple of classes on the side. And then all those pleasant thoughts dissolve as you utter those five, chill-inducing words: I'm going to be pre-med.

So much for the parties, the friends, and the fun. Right?

Wrong. College can be one of the most intense and exciting times of your life. Of course, it won't be if you decide to keep your head buried in the books the entire time. Sure, you'll spend countless hours studying, but not every hour.

Welcome to a new challenge. During your freshman year, you'll be forced to learn how to manage a bustling courseload, extracurriculars, a social life, and... you'll even figure out how to make time for yourself.
