Essential Skills: Mathematics Review is a research-based instructional program that examines skills one at a time, breaking each important skill into its essential components and giving students direct instruction, guided practice, and "real-life application" exercises.

Available in levels F, G, and H for grades 6-8, and J for High School (exit exam level).

Customized to Individual Needs

Teachers can deliver the program in sequence, or use the pre-program diagnostic test to customize delivery for individual students or small groups.

Correlated to State Standards

Essential Skills is correlated to state standards, and helps students build the skills and confidence necessary to succeed on classroom assignments and high-stakes exams.

In-Depth Teacher's Edition

A comprehensive Teacher's Edition provides suggestions for delivery and answers all exercises and questions. Diagnostic test questions and answers link to specific skillbuilders throughout the book, allowing teachers to make the most effective use of the material.

Program Flexibility

Based on student needs, teachers have maximum flexibility to determine the length of time spent working on each program component. Teachers may opt to cover any of the four 15-20 minute skillbuilders within each unit.
