Elisabeth

Elisabeth was born in Berkeley, CA and grew up in the Bay Area and in the Boston area. Trained in classical ballet, she worked at the Boston Ballet while completing a BS in Psychology at Boston University. As an undergraduate, she become involved in research on adolescent development, an area of interest that would sustain her as she pursued a masters from Boston College and a doctorate from the University of Texas at Austin, both in Counseling Psychology. Elisabeth has had the opportunity to work in college counseling centers at some of the finest universities in the country, including Tufts, Wellesley, Boston College, UT Austin, and Duke. She has also served as an instructor to undergraduates and graduate students at BU, BC, and UT Austin. Elisabeth feels that her diverse background has prepared her well for her role as a consultant, and that she brings a unique sensitivity to the developmental and emotional issues that are inherent in the admissions process, as well as a natural gift for teaching and coaching. Elisabeth currently lives in Stratford, CT, with her husband, their toddler twins, and a golden retriever. In her spare time, she enjoys swing dancing, scuba diving, photography, and travel. |
