John is an Admissions Consultant and Instructor with Kaplan, Inc., and has extensive experience in admissions consulting and working with admissions offices before joining Kaplan. He also provides public seminars on Graduate School Admissions in Science and Engineering (in Boston, New York, and Los Angeles). He has advised numerous applicants and helped them to secure admission to more than one hundred of the nation's finest institutions, ranging from the top twenty schools in each category to programs widely recognized as "safety schools." John primarily focuses on Graduate School Admissions in Science and Engineering. His clientele is international in nature and varies widely in age (from 20 to 65). John completed a master of science at MIT in Biological Engineering and worked in a joint laboratory at MIT and Harvard. He also completed his undergraduate education also at MIT and majored in both science and engineering disciplines. He completed his Master of Science and Bachelor of Science all in fours years. John was then accepted by every leading program to which he applied and was offered various admissions fellowships, scholarships, and other monetary awards. He was also a 2004 US Fulbright Fellowship National Finalist. Additionally, John has won honors and grants from institutions such as the National Science Foundation, the National Institute of Health, and the Howard Hughes Foundation. |
