Linda received a B.S. in education from the University of Maine and attended graduate school at Indiana University. After spending ten years in the corporate world, she returned to education administration after relocating to San Diego.
Her credentials include 20 years with the University of California San Diego School of Medicine—two years in the financial aid office and 18 years in the admissions office, the past eight years as the director of admissions and a member of the Admissions Committee. Over the years, She has advised and counseled thousands of applicants and prospective applicants and has read tens of thousands AMCAS and secondary applications and essays. Linda has significant experience working with California medical schools and has general knowledge of many medical schools across the country. During her tenure as director, she also served as a guest speaker for pre-med groups and professional organizations (local and national) regarding application to medical school. She has extensive experience in all aspects of the application process.
Linda recently retired from UCSD and now serves as a Kaplan admissions consultant.
