Michelle Calabro Hubbard has worked as a legal secretary and paralegal while attending Glendale University College of Law in the evenings. After graduating with BSL and JD degrees, Michelle worked in personal injury defense and plaintiff firms in Los Angeles and Beverly Hills. Her husband was a real estate attorney, and they moved to Hawaii when he retired.
While in Hawaii, Michelle worked in real estate sales, becoming a million dollar producer. The time came when she decided to follow she heart and become a writer. She's had a young adult novel, several short stories and articles and an anthology published. Additionally, Michelle has also done copy writing and editing.
She's been an admissions consultant with Kaplan for over 10 years. The unique combination of her legal background and writing experience make her especially effective in helping with the personal statement, resume and other essay portions of the application. Many of Michelle's clients have been able to get into their top school choices and feel that the application process was much less stressful because of their work together.
