Rochelle
Business Admissions Consultant

Rochelle has been a university administrator for more than thirty years, working primarily in professional schools. Her expertise is in MBA admissions, marketing and managing executive MBA/MS programs and student affairs. She has worked with hundreds of domestic and international business school applicants, helping them navigate their way through the admissions process and gain a better understanding of the differences among programs and schools.

Most of Rochelle's professional life has been spent at Columbia University, where she began her professional career and to which she has now returned after holding administrative positions at several other educational institutions. Some of her experience includes eight years as a Dean and Director of Student Affairs/Services at Columbia's Business School. While at the business school, she worked closely with admissions, recruited students, and served on various scholarship/fellowship committees. Rochelle has also served as Director of Administration and Special Projects at Brooklyn Law School, where most of her work was related to student recruitment activities and as Director of Executive Programs at Baruch College's Business School (the country's largest B-School).

Rochelle is now the Associate Director of The American Assembly, a fifty-five year old, non-partisan US public policy organization. The Assembly is affiliated with Columbia University and focuses on important domestic and international issues. One recent Assembly program was of particular relevance to the business world, The Future of the Accounting Profession (americanassembly.com). Through her Assembly work and Kaplan consulting, Rochelle continually meets impressive and very talented people. The work keeps her current and she finds the interaction "personally satisfying."
