I have worked with students to plan for their futures for more than 30 years. After receiving undergraduate and graduate degrees in Mathematics, my professional life began in the classroom as a high school math teacher. I then spent 16 years with Kaplan Educational Centers, facilitating its operations in the Delaware area. I worked with high school students to prepare for standardized tests such as the SAT and college students to prepare for tests necessary for admission to graduate programs.
In 1997 I took a position as Director of Admissions in the college setting in preparation for my work as a consultant. My goal is to match students with appropriate colleges, assist them through all aspects of the admissions process, and celebrate with them when the fat college envelopes are received. I have had students at Penn, Georgetown, NYU, Hamilton, Kenyon, the University of Chicago, and the list goes on. I am a Certified Educational Planner (AICEP) and a member of NACAC, IECA, HECA and PCACAC.
