Sara Berman received her JD from the UCLA School of Law, and is a member of the State Bar of California. She practiced bankruptcy law in Century City before beginning her work in legal education. Currently a Professor at Concord Law School, Sara is recognized nationally as an expert on the performance test. In her more than fifteen years leading bar review courses, she has helped thousands of students to pass the bar examination. Sara has also authored numerous legal books and articles, including PASS the Performance Test; The Criminal Law Handbook: Know Your Rights, Survive the System and Represent Yourself in Court; and How to Prepare and Try a Winning Case, both published by Nolo.com and co-authored with UCLA Law Professor Paul Bergman.
