The PCAT at a Glance

The Biology section of the PCAT contains 48 multiple-choice questions, 40 of which count toward your score. The remaining eight questions are experimental and do not affect your score. As of July 2014, there will be two 150-300 word passages, each with four associated questions, presented during the Biology section. Topics tested include General Biology (50%), Microbiology (20%), and Human Anatomy and Physiology (30%). You will have 35 minutes to complete the Biology section.
