Every year Kaplan Test Prep surveys admissions officers at the top graduate schools across the U.S. The survey data collected helps us to provide informed guidance to the tens of thousands of graduate school applicants we work with each year. See below for highlights of the results and the full survey report.
- 69% of graduate school admissions officers say they use the highest GRE® score submitted
- 54% say the Writing section of the GRE® is as important as the Verbal and Quantitative sections
- 88% say they are not permitted to use Facebook, Twitter, or LinkedIn to make admissions decisions (note: this is different from law school admissions in particular)
