The Road To Business School

April 1, 2012
Andrew Mitchell

Business School April will certainly be an interesting month, as it always is, in the business school decision-making process for many prospective graduate students.  We understand the advice you offer about the road to business school is some of the best counseling available to anyone interested in walking it. To add support to your cause, we’ve put together a short set of four separate videos consisting of interview bites of admissions representatives from the nation’s top business schools. In each video, these representatives give sage and valuable counsel to aspirant graduate management students. Feel free to direct your advisees to these videos as a “don’t take my word for it” resource to deepen your clients’ appreciation of the need for a thoughtful approach to bschool admissions. Offer this URL for The Road to Business School YouTube channel: http://bit.ly/U4B6cH

Also, you need your applicants to put their best foot forward, and we can help. For a limited time, we are offering a free audit of our GMAT prep course for anyone interested in learning what the GMAT is really testing and how the test works. Interested test-takers can join us for the first full session of our nine-session course. Each of our nine two-and- a-half hour class sessions is packed with insight, strategy, and content knowledge every GMAT test-taker must learn. Session 1 launches our students into their test preparation. In this session, students will (1) identify and work with the four core competencies tested on every GMAT question; (2) learn the nuts and bolts of how to read strategically and earn points; (3) dive deep into Picking Numbers—an invaluable quantitative strategy; and (4) learn exactly how the GMAT works and what students need to do to prepare. Classes are being held in our Classroom Anywhere® environment and in our Classrooms On Site in select cities around the nation. For dates/times and to learn more, click here.

Please use the comments section below to let us know how your advisees receive these updates, what questions they have, and what suggestions you have.
