Hurricane Sandy and Kaplan Classes

October 29, 2012
Jeff Thomas

To our valued advisors:

As always, we are committed to the success and well-being of our students, faculty, and colleagues.  As a business, we try our best to remain in operation during periods of inclement weather to provide information about class and event cancellations in your area and to provide assistance to ensure that you can continue to advise your students with minimal disruptions.

We have a team of Kaplan representatives ready to help.  However, due to increased call volumes, students and partners may experience a delay in reaching a Kaplan representative by telephone or email. We appreciate your patience during this time. Please be assured that we remain absolutely committed to your students’ educational success and want to do our part in easing any concerns you or your students may have.

For changes to classes or events, we will communicate using email and phone numbers on file for students impacted.  If no notification is received, students should assume that their classes or events will meet as scheduled.  If you or your students are in the affected areas and Kaplan classes or events have not been canceled, please exercise judgment about whether to travel to the location.

Most importantly, we hope you and your families stay safe during this time. Your safety and well-being is a primary concern, and we look forward to continuing to support you as best we can.
