Law School applications for fall of 2014 will become available towards the end of September/beginning of October. As students begin to decide which schools to apply to they should take advantage of the list of ABA-approved law schools and accompanying search engine. The new 2014 list was just released by LSAC and the ABA and is available on the LSAC website.
The ABA-LSAC Official Guide is a great tool that allows students to search for law schools based on a number of factors including locations, undergraduate GPA and LSAT scores. In addition, keywords can be plugged in to narrow the search to a particular area of law, finances, curriculum, finances and more. The search will also provide information on application fees. Please note, that this guide covers only American schools and schools in Puerto Rico. There is a separate list for Canadian law schools with information about each school, listed alphabetically; however, there is no search engine available for Canadian schools.
