At Kaplan we also celebrate the back to school season, and we do so in style. To kick off the fall term, we have a series of events that are open and beneficial to aspiring pre-meds of all stages. First are the MCAT Bootcamps! Our MCAT Boot Camp is a unique experience: 90 minutes of fast-paced focus on advanced content – the toughest prep for the toughest questions on the MCAT. Students will run drills to both test their abilities and get them into shape for Test Day and by the end of Boot Camp they’ll have a great idea of where they stand and what they need to focus on for the rest of their MCAT prep. There are three dates for students to choose from this term, all in September.Second, is the September episode of The Pulse on September 16th, and its topic of discussion couldn’t come at a better time: Grades, MCAT & Life – Finding The Balance! One of the biggest challenges facing pre-meds is figuring out how to fit it all in: classes, clinical hours, and the MCAT all take their toll, not to mention trying to have a social life. During this episode of our monthly show for pre-meds, students will get the inside scoop on how to study smarter and use their time more efficiently. Our featured panelist is Larry Rudman, Vice President of Learning Sciences at Kaplan Test Prep, who will share his team’s latest findings about how to achieve the right balance. We’ll also hear from a couple of recent students who, like yours, have recently successfully navigated the path to med school. And finally, towards the end of September, we will be launching our Free Practice Test Events, where students can take a simulated MCAT and receive valuable strategies and feedback from our leading faculty. These tests will be available live both online and onsite throughout the fall term.
To have your students register for any of these events, or yourself for that matter, please have them visit us at KaplanMCAT.com! We are looking forward to another great school year!
