As we let you know last week, our upcoming The 180 Live guest is Elie Mystal, of the Above the Law blog. He will be joining Jeff Thomas, our usual excellent host, to hash out what changes law schools should and can make to better serve their students on Monday, October 21st at 9:00 p.m. EST. Mystal is a self-described provocateur, so we have no doubt we will get some big opinions from him about any and all law school-related content. One of his major sources of discontent is the interdependent relationship between law schools and rankings systems; we know you’re aware of a lot of these questions, and we’ve been keeping you updated about the debates swirling around all of the lists out there. At the bottom of this post, if you’re interested in participating in the event and this conversation, check out our recommended reading for the event.
Speaking of participation… we want to know what you would ask Elie as he sits down with us. You can submit questions in the comments section here. Anything at all is open; we will pick the best questions and pose them to Elie following The 180, and post videos of his answers after our 180 episode airs. It’s a great opportunity to join the conversation, especially since you are on the front lines of this debate, and hear student concerns all the time. Don’t forget to register for 180 Live itself.
