Kaplan GMAT students have advantages over others studying for this beast of a test. As a GMAT instructor, business person, and believer in the product, I could issue a pretty quick laundry list of those advantages. At or near the top of that list is a unique aspect of our course offering that no other company can provide: the Official Test Day Experience, or OTDE for short.

Roughly eighteen months ago, I ruminated on our OTDE in a post written for our student blog. Therein, I visited two ideas worth mentioning again here. This first is borne from the phrase “the primacy of doing”. As an example, I offer a video of Shinya Kimura talking about building motorcycles and what it is like to ride them. The other is one person’s definition of authenticity, which is, quite simply, closeness to the source.
Each of these notions speaks to and underscores the importance and value of Kaplan’s Official Test Day Experience. Invariably, all of my students agree after they do it.
