Nuevo_Diccionario_Enciclopédico_IlustradoHere are some of the latest, most interesting headlines about the law school admissions and legal education landscapes from media outlets across the country.  It’s never a slow month!

Facing sustained, strong headwinds on the employment and education landscapes, a new Kaplan Test Prep survey of nearly 1,400 pre-law students finds that tomorrow’s attorneys support a two-year law school program and more clinical experience in the curriculum.  (JD Journal)

And what do current law school students think about their experience in law school? They give it mixed marks, according to this comprehensive study conducted by Indiana University’s Center for Post-Secondary Research. (The Wall Street Journal)

Two Kansas City area law schools are engaging in a “tuition war” of sorts – but don’t worry…applicants will likely be the beneficiaries, not the casualties. (The Kansas City Star)

We all know that law school enrollment around the country is dropping, but it’s important to realize that not all law schools are seeing equal drops. With all due respect, the following list shows that the ones suffering most are not exactly top-tier.  The competition to get into the top ranked programs still remains fierce and top schools are still (mostly) filling their seats. (National Jurist)

We know that diversity is important to pre-laws students and the legal education community.  To that end, one law school has linked up with several historically black colleges and universities to expand racial and ethnic diversity in the legal profession. (Associated Press)
