Every year we see thousands of MCAT students apply to join us as part-time teachers or full-time teachers, and many of them have questions that revolve around pay, benefits, and work schedules. We are excited to announce that we’ll be running a series of online informational sessions in the first week of April where students can get their questions answered and hear tips on how best to interview for our positions. As an advisor, you likely know which of your students have the leadership potential, skills, and interest to be a successful teacher and mentor to their peers. While students thoroughly enjoyed our Pharmacy School Spotlight event in March, next month we’ll present seminars that dig into the MCAT and the DAT respectively:
The MCAT Test Day Experience: Monday, April 9th, 8:00 PM ET/5:00 PM PT
Studying for the MCAT is a big challenge, but for many students, actually taking the exam can be just as stressful. Between stringent security procedures, unfamiliar technology and general test-taking anxiety, it’s easy to get overwhelmed. In this special event our MCAT experts will walk through the Test Day experience from breakfast to the post-MCAT celebration.
Unfolding the PAT: Thursday, April 19th, 9:00 PM ET/6:00 PM PT – The Perceptual Ability Test is one of the most unique and important subtests on the DAT, and is notorious for giving students problems. In this session, one of our DAT experts will introduce students to this critical section of the test and guide them through the timing, strategy, and practice skills that will help them succeed.
