January 15, 2012

Business School Blueprint 2012 is a free, five-night program in January to get a head start on your career   management and business. Join Kaplan and experts drawn from different fields a for four 90-minute intensive sessions in our Classroom Anywhere™ environment. Get advice and strategies from our GMAT and b-school admissions experts— from anywhere you have an internet connection.

  • Business School — Why and Where to Go (live online, Sunday 1/22 9PM ET). We kick off the program with a panel of alumni from top MBA programs.  Join us to discuss the reasons to pursue the degree; going to school full-time vs. part-time vs. online; the ROI and financing of an MBA; and identifying your target schools.
  • Application Metrics:  Your MBA Scorecard (live online, Monday 1/23 9PM ET). Your application is a balanced portfolio of academic and work experience, your GMAT score, application essays, recommendations, and your networking and research.  In this session, we’ll share data on the metrics and you’ll walk away with concrete tools to measure your own competitiveness.
  • 100 Hours:  a GMAT Study Plan (live online, Tuesday 1/24 9PM ET) . The average 600+ and 700+ scorer prepares 100 hours for the GMAT. That means two hours per day for two to three months of prep. In this seminar, we’ll introduce the GMAT and give you a downloadable outline for GMAT preparation.
  • Free GMAT Training Session and the New GMAT Section (live online, Wednesday 1/25 9PM ET). In this training session, you’ll learn about every GMAT question type — including the 4 new question types on the Integrated Reasoning section — and leave with a few quick-to-master testing techniques.
  • Second Annual MBA Night (in 5 cities, Thursday 1/26 5:30-7:30PM). If you’re near in NYC, Boston, DC, Chicago, or SanFrancisco, this night is your opportunity to meet informally with MBA alumni. Get a feel for different programs, ask your questions, and start building what business school is known for: a strong network.
