2013 is going to be a great year and Kaplan is here to make it even better. Our January event series is focused on several events that are designed to get heads in the game and momentum built for the fall application cycle. “Destination: Business School” has some incredible opportunities for aspirant MBAs and other graduate management students. Events in the series include:
- January 20th—Business School: Why and Where to Go. A panel of alumni from top MBA programs will discuss reasons to pursue the degree, going to school full-time vs. part-time vs. online, the ROI and financing of an MBA, and identifying target schools.
- January 21st—Application Metrics: Your MBA Scorecard. An application is a balanced portfolio of academic and work experience, a GMAT score, application essays, and letters of recommendations all supported by networking, research, and hard work. In this session, Kaplan shares data on the metrics and attendees will walk away with concrete tools to measure their own competitiveness.
- January 22nd—A GMAT Study Plan. The average 600+ and 700+ scorer prepares 100 hours for the GMAT’s Quant and Verbal sections. That means two hours per day for two to three months of prep. In this seminar, Kaplan GMAT experts introduce the GMAT and discuss a downloadable outline for GMAT preparation.
- January 23rd—Free GMAT Training Session. In this training session, attendees learn about every GMAT question type—including the 4 question types on the Integrated Reasoning section—and leave with a few quick-to-master testing techniques.
- January 24th—3rd Annual MBA Night. Held in NYC and San Francisco, this is a fantastic opportunity to meet informally with MBA alumni from a variety of respected institutions. Attendees can get a feel for different programs, ask questions, and start building what business school is known for: a strong network.
We here at Kaplan GMAT are very excited about this event series and look forward to a great kick off to a highly successful year. Cheers!
