As we get closer to the end of February and spring approaches, I’m happy to announce something for your advisees to look forward to, in addition to warmer weather: The launch of Kaplan’s “Try Us For Free” event series! If you or your advisees have ever wondered how a Kaplan class actually works, now is your chance to peek behind the curtain and attend a sample session to see how some of our best teachers break down the GRE, apply methods and strategies for different question-types, and motivate their students.
For many students, attending an instructor-led session represented a turning point in how they approached the GRE and their preparation for it. No matter how far along someone is in his or her GRE studies, there is always value in getting individualized guidance from proven coaches like our Anywhere teachers.
Here are the dates and times of the first several preview classes in this online series:
Thursday, February 21st, at 7 pm ET
Thursday, February 28th, at 10 pm ET
Wednesday, March 6th, at 10 pm ET
Monday, March 18th, at 9 pm ET
Saturday, March 23rd, at 12 pm ET
Wednesday, March 27th, at 9:30 pm ET
Kaplan is also currently running a series of full-length online practice tests – if your advisees are planning to take the GRE this spring or summer but don’t know how to begin their prep, they can use a practice test to determine their current score levels. This information will greatly inform their plans, and help them set up a preparation schedule that is efficient and tailored to their individual needs.
In addition to these preview classes and practice tests, we regularly run other seminars to help students prepare for the GRE and the graduate school application process – for example, on Tuesday, March 12th, we’re running a workshop on how to craft a compelling personal statement. To register for any of our upcoming events, students just need to go to KaplanGRE.com, type their zip code into the “Free Events” search box, and scroll to the list of “Classroom Anywhere” results. We look forward to seeing your advisees at an event soon!
