It’s hard to believe that it has been two years since we launched the “Partners in Nursing” e-newsletter. As one of the original committee members, I can say that I am truly impressed with the changes we’ve made during this time. What started as a word document that Dawn Horvath sent out to her nursing friends turned into an email sent out by Programs Managers which then became an e-newsletter delivered on the first Monday of the month, and has now become a fully functional and completely awesome blog (although my opinion is slightly biased).
I’m also continuously impressed with the collaboration we’ve had and continue to have between this committee and the different divisions at Kaplan Nursing. Whether it’s an idea from a Nursing Programs Managers, a tip from a Faculty Manager (who assigns all of our awesome NCLEX instructors to reviews), help from our Creative and Marketing Team (especially Morgan), or a nursing trend from our Nurse Consultants or Curriculum team, we continue to reach across Kaplan borders to provide you with meaningful and useful information.
In case anyone wants to send us a present, the traditional gift for a second anniversary is cotton, whereas the modern gift is porcelain china. However, since this blog is all about you, the readers, the EIN blog team thought it only appropriate for us to give you a gift. In keeping with the aforementioned 2nd anniversary gifts, we’d like to present you with cotton balls and a porcelain gallbladder.
I know—we really shouldn’t have to give you any gifts other than our knowledge and wit, but hey, we’re a generous bunch. Thank you for your continued support of the Educators in Nursing blog. We look forward to partnering and educating you (and vice versa) for at least another two years!!!
