New York, NY (September 20, 2010) – Kaplan Test Prep announced today its cosponsorship of the nation’s largest annual gathering of pre-medical and pre-public health students at the 8th annual American Medical Student Association American River College/University of California – Davis Pre-Medical and Pre-Public Health Conference, to be held at the Davis campus on October 9 and 10.  Students will attend admissions workshops to help them get a competitive edge in the admissions process, attend a panel discussion on relevant topics featuring deans from top medical schools and listen to a roaster of esteemed speakers.  Aspiring health professionals not able to attend in person will benefit from a free live webcast, brought to them by Kaplan technology.
