Background: After a 40 year career in graduate education, Maria recently retired from the University of California, San Diego - School of Medicine where she was the Assistant Dean for Recruitment, Admissions and Financial Aid.

Background: Dr. Scott is a Resident Physician in Cardiothoracic Surgery at the University of Virginia. As a Howard University student, he was the Vice President of Education and a medical school student admissions liaison, reviewing MCAT scores, personal statements and conducting residency interviews.

Background: For the last five years, Dr. Kim has conducted interviews for the Yale Alumni Schools Committee. She has undergraduate and graduate degrees in microbiology and a medical degree from the John A Burns School of Medicine and has taught thousands of Kaplan students on the MCAT over the last ten years and coached them through the entire medical school admissions process.

Background: As a healthcare service professional graduated from Aureus University School of Medicine; with clinical experiences ranging across the United States to Canada including a Sub-Internship in Surgical Oncology. During this time she also took a position with Canada Q Bank to develop clinical scenarios and formulated questions for the question bank toward other medical professionals who would like to take the licensing exams for Canada, which include the Medical Council of Canada Evaluating Examination, and Medical Council of Canada Qualifying Exam Part 1 of Part 2. Dr. Griffin is an experienced Director with a demonstrated history of working in the health, wellness industry and Canadian University admissions in Calgary. Dr. Griffin uses her accumulated experiences to help students excel in the complex world of admissions.

Dr. Mikhail is a physician, professor, a diplomate of the American Board of Preventive Medicine, a member of the American College of Medical Genetics, textbook author and a former Princeton Regional Alumni Interviewer.
Education: DO, University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine
Background: Dr. Alyssa Mixon is currently a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation resident in Philadelphia, PA, and plans to pursue a fellowship in Sports Medicine/Performing Arts Medicine. She is expert in the AACOMAS application process, and has with students to craft personal statements and applications specific to pursuing Osteopathic degrees.
Dr. Mixon worked for the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in the Office of Constituent Services where she coordinated orientation for incoming medical students and advised, met with, and answered all questions by prospective medical students.
After earning a dual degree in Classics (B.A.) and Biology (B.S.), Dr. Mixon decided to matriculate straight into osteopathic medical school. With a background in dancing, she hopes to pursue Dr. Mixon enjoyed using Kaplan from high school all the way through medical school.

Background: Dr. Brown graduated medical school at UC Davis in 2002 and stayed on to complete her residency and fellowship and then to work as faculty at the same institution. Dr. Brown served on the Medical School Admissions Committee at UC Davis , where she set the policy for their scoring system, provided guidance to interviewers, assessed applications, and reviewed personal statements.
