HIGH SCHOOL AND COLLEGE EXAMS

STUDY FOR THE SAT, ACT, AND MORE

Learning about the difference between the various high school exams required for college admissions is just another piece of knowledge every college-bound student (and parent) needs to know.

As early as freshman year, you will want to familiarize yourself with the focus of each exam to start building a calendar that allows for standardized testing prep before each test is scheduled.

You’ll also want to look at the admissions requirements of your wish-list colleges to make note of the tests they require and the time frame for submitting scores.

THE FIRST CHOICE OF FUTURE DOCTORS

The Medical College Admission Test, or MCAT, is more than just a formality for medical school admissions. It is a multiple-choice, computer-based, standardized exam that is required for admission to med schools in the United States and Canada.

The MCAT exam not only measures your content knowledge in General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, General Biology, Biochemistry, Physics, Psychology, and Sociology—it also tests your critical analysis and reasoning skills.

A strong MCAT score and GPA are just the beginning. To get into med school, you’ll need to craft an unforgettable personal statement and ace the interview.
