Nationwide there are hundreds of high-achieving students with socio-economic disadvantages that are not able to gain access to Kaplan products. Through this tuition assistance program, Kaplan has created a way to help talented students take advantage of courses that they would not otherwise be able to afford. As a result, hundreds of students are able to step up to the same starting line as everyone else—where they can prove their abilities and advance their career ambitions.
Academic & Financial Guidelines
Any student who is currently enrolled in a college or university, with at least a 3.0 GPA, can apply for assistance from Kaplan through our 3-Tier Assistance program.
EFC Score: 2000 or Lower
EFC Score: 2001 - 4000
3.0 - 3.5
Up to 60% off based on EFC Score
Up to 35% off based on EFC Score
Are You Eligible?
If you’re a United States citizen (or are an international student enrolled in a U.S. college or university), and you meet the following academic and financial need standards, you could be eligible for up to a 60% discount on your Kaplan course.

To complete the application, you’ll need your college transcript and Student Aid Report (SAR) form.
Your Student Aid Report (SAR) is a paper or electronic document that gives you some basic information about your eligibility for federal student aid as well as listing your answers to the questions on your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSASM). Click here for more info.
Any tuition assistance discounts awarded for Kaplan courses must be used within 6 months after the award date.
You should time your application accordingly. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed until all required documents are received. Students will not be awarded a tuition assistance discount for a class that starts within five business days or less.
