Bar Exam Targeted Tutoring

Get tutored by one of Kaplan PMBR's Top Lecturers or Bar Exam Specialists. Our tutors will create a customized program that can help you:

• Overcome your key weak areas
• Become more proficient on the MBE
• Write stronger essays
• Understand difficult legal concepts

How it works:

Step 1: Assessment Session (1 hour)
Your first hour of tutoring will be conducted by our Director of Tutoring who will:

• Call you to discuss your studies thus far.
• Provide you with your needs assessment based on an examination of your progress as tracked in your online Strength & Weaknesses Guide.
• Set mutual expectations and the scope of your tutoring plan.
• Set up a tutoring schedule based on the number of hours you have chosen to purchase. For your benefit, we will pace your tutoring hours and you will need to commit to the set schedule.*

Step 2: Tutor Match
Our Director of Tutoring will match you up with a tutor who will be able to address your learning needs.

Step 3: Pre-tutoring Session Work
Your tutor will contact you and give you your first assignment. Once you turn it in, your tutor will grade it and schedule your first appointment.

Step 4: Your core 1-1 Tutoring Sessions

• Your tutoring sessions will take place either over the phone or via our Live Online platform which will allow you to video chat with your tutor and allow your tutor to teach you via visual aids and share MBE questions and essays.
• You will receive new assignments after each session.

*If you miss a scheduled appointment, we will do our best to reschedule it for you. However, if we are unable to reschedule, you will forfeit the hours that you have missed.

Tutoring Prices & Packages

You'll select either a Targeted Tutoring or a Targeted Tutoring Premium Package that will define your tutor's experience level.

Targeted Tutoring
Provided by Kaplan PMBR bar exam specialists who have years of experience tutoring students on the MBE and State Essays.

Targeted Tutoring Premium
Provided by Kaplan PMBR lecturers and bar exam specialists who not only have years of bar exam teaching and tutoring experience, but are also renowned for being able to explain even the most difficult concepts and how to apply them to the actual exam.

Note:

• State and MBE Tutoring is available for the CA, FL, NJ, NY, and PA bar exams.
• MBE Tutoring is available on a national basis.
