JAMP Program Student Assessment and Intervention

In 2003, the Texas legislature created The Joint Admission Medical Program (JAMP), a special program to encourage highly qualified but economically disadvantaged students to pursue a medical education. Kaplan, in partnership with JAMP, has provided knowledge assessment, enrichment programs, test preparation, tutoring, and training since the program's inception. The result? A 20% increase in the medical school matriculation rate for the program participants.

University of Michigan Enrichment Program

Kaplan partnered with the University of Michigan's Profiles for Success initiative to create an enrichment program for disadvantaged students applying to dental school. The program included Kaplan's test prep course for the Dental Admission Test (DAT) as well as admissions workshops and seminars. For a make-or-break test like the DAT, this program significantly increased students' chances for admission into dental school.

PUENTE Learning Center College Readiness

PUENTE Learning Center tackled the important task of assisting lower-income Los Angeles-area high school students in increasing their SAT scores and broadening their college opportunities by partnering with Kaplan Test Prep to offer an SAT preparatory curriculum, raising student scores significantly and helping them continue their path toward higher education.
