David Fougere
Senior Vice President at Kaplan International
David brings 25 years of experience in international education, helping students and families worldwide navigate academic opportunities across the UK, US, and Europe. As your host, he’ll lead the conversation on the UK university experience, outline what to expect on your journey, and connect American families with the right admissions experts for practical next steps.
Before joining Kaplan, David spent 17 years in senior leadership at EF Education First and served as executive vice president at Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE), where he oversaw operations and admissions for the study abroad group. He holds a BA from Haverford College and a master’s degree from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government.
Dave Murphy
Country Development Manager

Dave Murphy is a country development manager for the International Recruitment team at the University of Liverpool. Through his role, Dave offers guidance and support to students and families across North America in their journey to Liverpool, from pre-application to enrollment on campus. Dave has worked in recruitment and study abroad-related roles at three Russell Group universities and is happy to advise on why Liverpool could be a fantastic choice to consider.
Kate Glaser
Regional Manager, North America & Caribbean

Kate Glaser serves as the Regional Manager for North America & Caribbean at Queen Mary University of London and has worked in the admissions and recruitment space for the past 15 years. Before QMUL, Kate worked at two universities in the United States, supporting both domestic and international students interested in pursuing undergraduate degrees, the transfer process, and exploring graduate programs. Kate holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Otterbein University in Journalism and Public Relations and a Master of Arts degree in Higher Education Administration from Baldwin Wallace University.
