About the Nebraska Bar Exam
Nebraska has adopted the Uniform Bar Exam (UBE®). It is a two-day exam, which takes place on the last Tuesday and Wednesday of February and July. The Multistate Essay Exam (MEE®) and the Multistate Performance Tests (MPT®) are administered on Tuesday; the Mulitstate Bar Exam (MBE®) is administered on Wednesday.

Bar Exam Format
The Nebraska Bar Exam is a two-day exam.
- Day 1: AM: Six Multistate Essay Exam (MEE®) essays PM: Two Multistate Performance Tests (MPT®s).
- Day 2: 200-question, multiple-choice Multistate Bar Exam (MBE®).
Subjects Tested
Business Associations (Agency and Partnership; Corporations and Limited Liability Companies), Civil Procedure, Conflict of Laws, Constitutional Law, Contracts, Criminal Law and Procedure, Evidence, Family Law, Real Property, Torts, Trusts and Estates (Decedents' Estates; Trusts and Future Interests), and Uniform Commercial Code (Secured Transactions).

Grading
The Nebraska Bar Exam will require a minimum scaled combined score of 270 points out of 400 points to pass. The MBE®is weighted at 50% of the score, the Essays are weighted at 30%, and the MPT®s are weighted at 20%.
MPRE®
A minimum passing scaled score is 85 or higher.
MPRE® Policy: The MPRE® will be accepted for admission in Nebraska no longer than 3 years after the release of the passing score.
Reciprocity
If you earned a score of 270 or higher on the UBE® in another jurisdiction within the past three years, you may apply as a Class 1(C) applicant. If you are applying as a Class 1(A) applicant on motion, please request that your scaled MBE® and ESSAY/MPT® scores be reported to Nebraska.
PLEASE NOTE: Your scaled scores must have been earned from a single administration of the bar exam and may not be more than three years old. Combined scores from separate administrations will not be accepted.
