Frequently Asked Questions
Where are the in-person SAT classes available?
Currently, we are only offering in-person SAT classes in the New York City metro area and nearby locations in New Jersey. See the upcoming SAT course schedule here for the full list of in-person classes available, and expand any class listing to view the exact location map. Classes are currently available in Midtown Manhattan, Upper East Side/Manhattan Village, Downtown Brooklyn, Queens, and in New Jersey in White Plains and Garden City.
Should I take an in-person or a live online class?
Either one! The curriculum and strategies are 100% identical in both formats. Both are taught by expert instructors. The only real difference is where you sit.
- Choose In-Person if: You thrive in a traditional classroom environment, benefit from face-to-face accountability, and love the energy of peer-to-peer learning.
- Choose Live Online if: You prefer the comfort and convenience of learning from home, want to eliminate commuting time, and are highly engaged via digital interactivity tools.
Ultimately, it comes down to how you learn best. No matter which path you choose, you'll get the exact same top-tier in-person SAT preparation.
Will you be coming to any new cities?
We are not currently planning in-person classes outside of the New York area, but more classes may be coming in the future. Bookmark this page for any future updates, and contact us if you have any questions. If you’re outside of the New York area, please check our Live Online course schedules.
What should I bring to class?
Just a few essentials to make sure you’re ready to succeed from day one! Please bring:
- A digital device: A laptop, tablet, or tablet-hybrid to access and follow along with your course lesson PDF.
- An approved calculator: A fully-charged graphing or scientific calculator that you plan to use on test day. Please visit College Board's calculator policy for details around acceptable calculators.
- A writing utensil and a notebook: A pencil or pen for scratch work, notes, and breaking down problems.
- A growth mindset: This is the most important one! SAT prep is a journey. Bring a willingness to make mistakes, learn from them, and actively participate.
We’ll handle the rest!
How long do I have access to my online resources?
You will have instant access to your online resources upon registration, with your full 6-month access period beginning on Day 1 of your scheduled class.
What if I miss a class?
If you miss a class, you may watch an on demand video within your online resources on the same session topic. The video will not be of your exact teacher or session, but it will be the exact material covered in the session you missed.
Can I add tutoring hours to the course?
Yes, absolutely! If you want some extra, targeted support alongside your classroom learning, you can easily add Live Online private tutoring hours to your package.
While we do not offer face-to-face, in-person tutoring, our Live Online tutoring pairs your student 1-on-1 with an expert instructor in an interactive digital classroom—making it easy to fit into a busy NYC schedule.

How many students will be in the class?
Our classes average between 11 and 15 students.
We purposefully keep our class sizes in this sweet spot to give your student the best of both worlds. It’s small enough to ensure they receive personalized attention and individualized feedback from their expert instructor, yet collaborative enough to foster a lively, dynamic classroom energy where students can learn from each other's questions.
How are the classes structured?
Every single session is designed to be highly interactive, engaging, and outcome-driven. We don't just lecture; we build confidence through a proven, three-step learning framework:
- Learn the high-yield concepts: We zero in on the exact topics and question types that appear most frequently on the SAT exam, maximizing your student's score potential right from the start.
- Guided practice: Instructors walk through worked examples step-by-step, modeling our proven strategies and time-saving test-day methods so students see exactly how to approach the exam.
- Hands-on application: Students then dive into the material themselves to put those strategies to use, ensuring the concepts actually stick.
No student gets left behind. Because our classes are small, there is always plenty of opportunity for the instructor to pause, dig in, and provide real-time support whenever a student is struggling with a concept.
The best guarantee is one you won’t need. But you get it anyway.
