This session will introduce the skills and strategies needed to answer Skill 1 (Scientific Knowledge) questions. You will work through Chem/Phys problems to better understand the scope and level of content familiarity necessary to succeed on the MCAT. You will also explore the high-yield topics of reaction rates and nucleophilic acyl substitution from general and organic chemistry, respectively.

This session will introduce a section-level strategy designed to maximize your time—and score—on Test Day. You will work through science passages identifying patterns that you can use to determine which items are best done now and which are best saved for later. You will also cover a high-yield biology lesson on action potentials.

This session will introduce Skill 3 (Experimental Design) questions as well as the common wrong answer pathologies found in the science sections. You will deconstruct experiment-based passages identifying key components that are frequently tested on the MCAT. Next, you will deconstruct MCAT questions identifying the common characteristics found in wrong answer choices that make them tempting, but wrong. You will also cover a high-yield behavioral science lesson on emotion.

This session will introduce the skills and strategies needed to effectively answer Skill 4 (Data Analysis) questions. You will work through numerous passage excerpts and questions and learn to deconstruct the various presentations of data (graphs, tables, etc.) to form valid conclusions—and thus identify the correct answers to Skill 4 questions. You will also cover high-yield behavioral science lessons on the organization of the nervous system and learning.

This session will introduce Foundations of Comprehension (FoC) questions, one of the three families of CARS question types on the MCAT. You will work through passages and questions and learn the patterns and strategies needed to answer the four types of FoC questions: Main Idea, Detail, Inference, and Definition-in-Context.

This session will explore the content and strategies needed to answer Skill 2 (Scientific Reasoning) questions. You will work through a selection of Chem/Phys and Bio/Biochem passages and discuss how scientific observations can be used to predict and explain scientific phenomena—a crucial skill for Scientific Reasoning questions. You will also cover high-yield science lessons on VSEPR theory and the oxyhemoglobin dissociation curve.

This CARS session will focus on the Interrogation approach to Distilling CARS passages. You will work through several CARS passages to learn when the Interrogation approach is the best choice and how to leverage an interrogated passage when attacking CARS questions.

This session will cover the statistical analysis necessary to answer Skill 4 (Data Analysis) questions on the MCAT. You will work through a selection of experiment-based passages designed to illuminate statistical concepts such as data distributions and measures of central tendency. You will also cover high-yield biology lessons on the endocrine system and the menstrual cycle.

This session will explore the strategies and skills needed to effectively answer passage-based Skill 1 (Scientific Knowledge) questions. You will work through Bio/Biochem passages, learning how to spot highly-testable passage information. You will also cover high-yield science lessons from biochemistry that explore enzyme kinetics and amino acid electrophoresis.

This session will introduce Reasoning Within the Text (RWT) questions, one of the three families of CARS question types on the MCAT. You will work through passages and questions to learn the patterns and strategies needed to answer the two types of RWT questions: Function and Strengthen/Weaken (Within).

This session will cover Skill 3 (Experimental Design) questions and the experiment-based passages that accompany them. You will work through passages with a focus on evaluating the appropriateness of experimental designs and the research questions they aim to answer. You will also cover a high-yield biology lesson on Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium.

This CARS session will focus on the Outline approach to Distilling CARS passages. You will work through several CARS passages to learn when the Outline approach is the ideal choice and how to leverage your passage outline when attacking CARS questions.

This session will introduce Reasoning Beyond the Text (RBT) questions, one of the three families of CARS question types on the MCAT. You will work through curated passages and their associated questions to learn the patterns and strategies needed to answer the two types of RBT questions: Apply and Strengthen/Weaken (Beyond).

This session will explore the math skills needed on the MCAT. As such, you will work through a curated set of questions to familiarize yourself with the range of math skills needed to succeed on the MCAT. You will then apply this learning to a Chem/Phys passage. You will also cover high-yield general chemistry lessons focusing on math, the ideal gas law and electrochemical cells.

This session will focus on maximizing your CARS score. You will approach several CARS passages with the understanding that time on the MCAT is limited, and success on Test Day means learning to prioritize which passages and questions you should attack now and which should be saved for later.

In this session you will work through experiment-based passages and explore the limitations of scientific data as you learn about types of experimental error and uncertainty. You will also cover high-yield behavioral science lessons on social processes and attribution theory.

This session uses Skill 1 (Scientific Knowledge) questions to show how familiar content can be presented in novel ways. You will work through a curated set of questions from biology, biochemistry, general chemistry, and organic chemistry to demonstrate how the same concepts can be presented—and therefore applied—across multiple sections of the MCAT. You will also cover high-yield science lessons from general chemistry that explore solution equilibria and acid-base chemistry.

This CARS session focuses on the Highlight approach to Distilling CARS passages. You will work through several CARS passages to learn when the Highlight approach is the best choice and how to leverage your highlighting when attacking CARS questions.

In this session you will work through experiment-based passages with a focus on interpreting complex setups and determining valid conclusions that can be drawn from the results of these experiments. You will also cover a high-yield biology lesson on kidney function.

This session will explore the common wrong answer types in the CARS section. You will work through several CARS passages to familiarize yourself with four key wrong answer pathologies: Opposite, Out of Scope, Faulty Use of Detail, and Distortion/Extreme. You will learn what makes each of these pathologies incorrect, and also what makes each of them so tempting!

This session will utilize Skill 1 (Scientific Knowledge) questions to illustrate the content remediation process. You will work through Chem/Phys passages that have been curated to reveal common content gaps. Next, you will learn the steps needed to describe, categorize, and resolve these recently found content gaps. This session will leave you will the tools needed to handle any content weakness that you may encounter in your MCAT preparation. You will also cover high-yield physics lessons on fluid dynamics and electric potential energy.

This session will illustrate the strategy-remediation process by working through Skill 2 (Scientific Reasoning) questions. You will tackle several difficult Chem/Phys passages learning how to identify the source of mistakes. You'll leave with a process for turning mistakes in practice into points on Test Day. You will also cover high-yield science lessons on geometrical optics and solubility-based separations.

This session will work through several experiment-based passages to recognize how identifying the key components of experimental design will lead to correct answers on even the most complex experiment-based questions. You will also cover high-yield biochemistry lessons on aerobic metabolism and lipid metabolism.

This session will work through several data-heavy passages designed to incorporate the wide range of statistical and analytical know-how that you need to succeed on the MCAT. You will also cover high-yield science lessons on the central dogma of genetics and hormonal regulation of metabolism.
