Yes! We use the official practice tests from mba.com. They’re literally made by the same people who make the official GMAT—so they’re the best available practice tests. (If you later take one of our comprehensive study programs, we’ll also buy the paid official practice tests for you.)
When you sign up for a free GMAT practice test, you’ll get access to Manhattan Prep’s full Free Starter Kit, which will get you ready to take your first test (including time management strategies for all three sections). When determining your strengths and weaknesses, there’s a big difference between careless mistakes and legitimately wrong problems, or between problems you get right quickly and problems you get right slowly. How long does a GMAT practice test take?
A full-length GMAT practice test typically takes about 2.5 hours to complete. To get the most realistic experience, try to simulate test-day conditions, including timing each section and taking the optional break.

How long does it take to complete the GMAT Free Starter Kit?
This will vary from person to person because there is a lot of great material in our kit. Our Free Starter Kit contains dozens of hours of lessons, practice problems, strategies, and more. There are even two free ebooks (each with hundreds of pages). You’ll have more than enough to jumpstart your GMAT studies!
Are GMAT practice tests accurate?
Yes. Manhattan Prep Powered by Kaplan’s GMAT practice tests are accurate. We license our practice tests and material directly from GMAC, the makers of the GMAT, which means every problem you practice has been used on a real, previous GMAT exam. If you are taking the GMAT at a testing center, and you used realistic GMAT practice tests during your study schedule, your experience should be pretty similar to what you have practiced.
How many GMAT practice tests should you take?
It depends on how long you have to study for the GMAT, but if you give yourself 3 months to practice and study, and you have a target GMAT score that is very high, like 665, you will want to take at least five GMAT practice exams.

When you’re ready, log in to their learning management system and begin the test. For the most accurate results, take the test in a quiet space with a reliable internet connection.
